Cape Cod Hotel Review // The Club At New Seabury // Mashpee, MA

Last week we spent a few days at The Club At New Seabury in Mashpee, MA and despite my husband, Mike, having emergency appendix surgery 5 days earlier and a 12am tornado alert, we had such a great time!! The property has everything you need and and amentines were amazing- we truly felt like we were away at an all inclusive resort. If you are looking for a place to stay at the Cape - keep reading!

Staying On The Property

To have access to all the amazing amenities (like the beautiful beach and pools) at The Club At New Seabury you either have to be a member or stay on the property. We stayed for 3 days, 2 nights in the Sea Quarters which was our own condo/townhouse with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and everything you need! Downstairs, our condo had a full bathroom, a bedroom with 2 twin beds, a fully stocked kitchen, living room, dining area, a sunroom, and an outdoor patio! The kitchen was full with everything you may need- utensils, pots, pans, even a blender! There is a small pool walking distance from the Sea Quarters but to get to all of the other amenenties on the property like the beach, main pool, playground, tennis court, coffee shop, etc. you have to drive. It was about a 3-5 minute car ride from the Sea Quarters to the main pool/beach. You have to drive around the golf course and through a residential neighborhood with a lot of speed bumps which is why it takes a few minutes. You do have the option to stay the Poppy Cottages which are right outside of the main pool/beach area!

You can find a quick walkthrough of our condo at the Sea Quarters here.

What We Did The Property

Where do I start! The property is so big I am sure we didn't see all of the amenities they have to offer but I will share a bit about what we did enjoy. Here is a little day by day about what we did!

Day 1: We got to The Club At New Seabury around 10am, even though check-in wasn't until 4pm we were able to get a day pass from the club house to use the amenities on the property. The clubhouse overlooks the golf course which is great if anyone you are with loves to golf. We went straight to the athletic pool which was a quick drive. They had towels you could bring down to the pool. One side of the pool was meant for swimming laps and the other side was great for small kids because there was a large shallow area which was perfect for my 1 year old. They had games, an awesome fire pit area to hangout and locker rooms. We could walk to the playground which was right by all of the tennis courts. We took a ride to the Popponesset Inn which is next to the main pool and had an awesome lunch on the bar side. We went back later that night for dinner on the dining side and the food was amazing and the view was beautiful!

Day 2: We went to the main pool and sat on the beach (in sweatshirts because it was a bit chilly!). When you walk in they give you 1 towel per a person. Down on the beach there is a bar where you can order food and drinks along with someone who is there to set up beach chairs and umbrellas for you. My son, Cam, played in the sand with his toys and was living his best life! From the main pool/beach we walked to the little marketplace which is so cute! It has little shops like a coffee shop, restaurants, candy shop, mini golf, gift store and more. We sat under the gazebo and I ordered the lobster roll from the Poppy Raw Bar and wow- it was unreal. I ate almost all of it (until Cam pushed it onto the floor!!!).

Day 3: We packed everything up to check out of our room for 10am but because the weather was so beautiful we wanted to head to the beach. We drove to the beach/main pool from our room which again was about 3 minutes and hung out at the pool and beach until we were ready to hit the road to head back home to Rhode Island. We ordered drinks and food from the bar down at the beach and the service was fast and great :) I love this first pic of Cam- it looks like he is waving goodbye to Summer!!

I saved a story highlight on my Instagram with videos and pictures of our few days which you can find over on my Instagram page under "NE Travel" here.

Other Amenities On The Property

The Club At New Seabury has so much and truly feels like a resort. "The Athletic Center boasts 16 world-class tennis courts, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and one of Cape Cod's largest swimming pool, with a walk-in style entrance, and swimming lanes.  You can reserve a cabana for the afternoon and relax with the family.  Or decompress from a workout in either the hot tub or the saunas in both the men's and women's locker rooms." You can find a full list of amenities here. Next time, I can't wait to get a massage at the athletic club and then relax in the sauna! They also have 5 eateries on the property so there are many options for food!

Things To Do Nearby The Property

10 minutes away from the property is Mashpee Commons which we enjoyed walking around. They had some awesome stores like Pottery Barn, Vineyard Vines, Lululemon, and more. We loved grabbing a smoothie on the go from Rorys and had an incredible dinner at Estia- get the Horiatiki salad if you go!! There is also a Childrens museum in Mashpee about 2 minutes from The Club At New Seabury that we almost went to when it was raining. If you are a Homegoods addict like myself, there was one about 10 minutes away and it was the best Homegoods I have been to in a long time. Right next door is a grocery store too which we grabbed some muffins for breakfast.

We had such a great mini stay and can't wait to visit next year!! We totally overpacked and now we know you really don't need to bring much! They provide you with towels, chairs, umbrellas, and a fully stocked kitchen! Thanks for having us The Club At New Seabury :)
