Night Out @ TimeZone RI

A few weekends ago TimeZone reached out to see if some friends and I would be interested in a night out to try out TimeZone, a new interactive game located in Lincoln, Rhode Island. I reached out to a few other couples and everyone was down! We decided we would play in teams, boys vs. girls but we had no idea what we were getting into!!

When we got to TimeZone (which is inside where the R1 racing is), we were able to put our belongings into free lockers, checked in at the desk, and got our wristbands. There was a short video that we watched before we started to learn about what we were able to do. We had 2 hours on the clock to complete as many rooms as possible. You may be wondering what that means, because we were too!!

So basically, TimeZone has 25 rooms and each room has something different you have to complete. One could be where you have to use physical strength like dodgeball and another might test your memory like a memory game. You scan your bracelet to enter the room and only 1 team is allowed in the room at a time. Since there are 25 rooms, you can just go to any room you want- you don't have to go in order! Depending on the room, you get points based on how fast or how accurate you "complete" the room. You also have the ability to keep playing the same room over and over again to beat your score. The max score you can get per room is 100. So, if you play once and get 20 points you can go back to that room again and try to beat your score to get closer to 100. The team with the highest score at the end of your allotted time wins.

When you are out in the hallways switching rooms you may run into your friends that are playing but you are never in the same room with them. There is a scoreboard too so you can look at everyone's team names to see how they are doing!! We had such a fun time and are still talking about it.

This would be such a fun parents night out, friends night out, or even a work team building outing! You can click this link to make a reservation!
